Today everyone will be arriving in Christchurch, where you’ll be booked into a hotel for the first night. There will be a welcome dinner to meet the group!

Today we pick up our vans in the morning and drive through Arthur’s Pass on the way to the West Coast.

This drive is considered one of the most scenic highways in the world and there’ll be lots of beautiful spots along the way to stop and stretch our legs and take in the views.

We’ll watch sunset on the beach at Hokitika, and once it’s dark enough we will go looking for glow worms on a local nature walk!

Starting our day off with breakfast at camp and then we will visit the bright turquoise river at Hokitika Gorge Scenic Reserve and suspension bridge.

Our group will make our way to Franz Joseph where we can choose to go on a number of different nature walks in the valley of Westland Tai Poutini National Park.

This morning we will watch sunrise at the gorgeous Lake Matheson and enjoy a beautiful forest walk.

Then we continue on our journey and explore the stunning blue waters at the blue pools, as well as a nearby waterfall canyon before heading to Wanaka for the evening.

Strap on your hiking boots and get up early to check out sunrise at one of the most beautiful trails in New Zealand -Roy’s Peak (optional). Then take the rest of the day to hang out in Wanaka! Go swimming, get some ice cream, stroll the local shops and watch sunset at the lake. This is one of our favourite towns in New Zealand!

Wake up in the beautiful town of Wanaka, have coffee and breakfast before departing to Milford Sound.

We’ll get stocked up in Te Anau Downs, then begin our journey into Milford Sound where we will be camping for the evening. This is one of the most beautiful drives in New Zealand, so take your time, stop when you would like and enjoy the views!

Today we embark on a 2 hour boat cruise through the infamous Milford Sound which will blow you away, rain or shine!

Spend the rest of the day exploring the area. Depending on weather, we will either embark on a breathtaking hike to a turquoise-blue lake, or visit a scenic waterfall.

We’ll leave Milford Sound in the morning (optional sunrise at the sound) and head to Queenstown. Here you will get free time to enjoy Queenstown! Explore the local shops or choose a beach or hiking trail. We will provide a list of our favourite spots!

You have a few options this morning; We suggest taking the stunning scenic drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy or a jawdropping Heli Tour of Mount Aspiring (not included but highly recommended).

We then drive to Twizel and spend the night camping at the end of Lake Pukaki which should have tons of lupins and some of the best views of Mount Cook.

Catch sunrise at an epic viewpoint over Lake Pukaki with views of Mount Cook and lupin fields.

Then choose from a ton of different hiking trails closer to the base of Mount Cook. We’ll spend the night near Hooker Valley nestled between towering snow-capped peaks.

Embark on the Hooker Valley Hike at sunrise to see some of the most iconic views in New Zealand!

Then we’ll take a short drive to Lake Tekapo where there will be lupins backed by the bluest lake you will ever see. Check out the world-famous Church of the Good Shepherd while you are there. Spend the rest of the evening exploring and star gazing in the largest dark sky reserve in the world.

Have coffee and breakfast and enjoy your last morning here before heading back to Christchurch. We’ll say our farewells as our journey has come to an end.
