$3,900 USD per person, double occupancy. Single occupancy $5,900 USD.
A deposit is due at booking to hold your spot with regular monthly payments. Additional payments may be applied to the trip balance prior to payment due dates.
The idea is to book a van with a friend or your partner for a double occupancy van. If you’re riding solo please book single occupancy option. (All the vans will be the same)

Each van will require at least one driver that is 26 years of age or older with a non-restrictive drivers license.

This trip requires a minimum number of attendees to register in order for it to be confirmed. Once the trip reaches the minimum participant number, you will receive a trip confirmation email and a link to be added a private WhatsApp group just for trip guests. In this group further trip details will be provided along with pre-travel support.

• One night in a hotel in Christchurch
• 11 days/10 nights accommodations in a camper van rental with two beds, kitchen, table, cooking utensils, linens, etc.
• Private transfers to and from airport, hotel and camper van rental company on arrival day.
• 10 nights camper van holiday park reservations in a private site
• 3 hour guided boat tour of the Milford Sound
• Guided tour exploring local hot pools and star gazing on Day 11
• Drive through the Milford Sound, a Unesco World Heritage site
• Free time to explore Franz Josef Village, Queenstown, Tekapo and Christchurch
• Meals include a welcome dinner, one group dinner at the holiday park, charcuterie board dinner, and a bag with basic groceries at the beginning of trip
• Trip leader with you and available for support 24/7
• Travel checklists, detailed packing list and pre-travel support provided in a private WhatsApp group

• International flights to/from Christchurch, New Zealand
• Airport transfers if arriving outside of designated arrival and departure dates and locations as noted
•Airport transfer on departure date.
• Alcohol, additional beverages, snacks and meals as noted above
• Tips and gratuity for local guides and driver (at the discretion of the guest)
• Any additional excursions or optional activities not included in the above
• The NZeTA (New Zealand electronic Travel Authoricy) and the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL), both paid at the same time here.
• Any travel related medical expenses such as immunizations, vaccinations, or required Covid-19 testing (not required for New Zealand as of 5/2023)
• Travel insurance (required, see below)
• Additional driver for the van
• Fuel for the camper van
• Additional vehicle insurance outside of the Basic Coverage
• Personal expenses not included in the itinerary such as additional accommodations, transportation, souvenirs, etc.

Travel (and medical) insurance is required for anyone traveling on a Women Who Explore adventure. Your insurance should include adequate protection for overseas medical treatment, evacuation/repatriation, your baggage and equipment and the specific activities involved on your adventure. Your insurance policy should also include specific Covid-19 cover, including cancellation and curtailment cover if you or a close relative are diagnosed with Covid-19.
